Steel Engineering Development Company (SED) is a limited liability company jointly owned by Khalifa Juma Al Nabooda and Abdulrahman Saif Al Ghurair. Established in the U.A.E in 1981, SED was setup to develop and provide custom manufactured lift and escalator finishes for the burgeoning high-end real estate development projects in the Middle East region.
Over the decades, SED has remained at the market forefront through continuous product innovation and exceeding client expectations. In recent years, SED has increased its product range to cater to the challenging demands from the construction industry by adding bespoke decorative and architectural metalworks in its product portfolio.
We take an idea and convert a rough sketch into a detailed and precise design. With our modern, state-of-the-art CNC machines, we have the capability to manufacture and install custom metal and glass features as a full turnkey solution. Our extensive knowledge of the elevator and interior finishes industry, combined with our engineering and design expertise, has given us the opportunity to work on iconic projects in the region such as One Zabeel, Dubai Frame and many more.
